Apple is expected to bring out a new MacBook Pro later this year, reports Apple-centric website, 9to5Mac. According to their source and an Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities, the new MacBook Pro will be thinner and lighter, which will take some design inspiration from the 12-inch MacBook and will sport new features that will make the notebook stand out.
For instance, the MacBook Pro will feature a display touch bar over the keyboard to replace physical function keys and Touch ID to the notebook. How Apple will make use of the Touch ID is unknown.
As usual, the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops are expected to gain performance boosts and will have USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 support.
The new MacBook Pro is expected sometime in Q4 2016.
