HTC 10 Lifestyle is an underpowered HTC 10, will release in India

Classic case of bait-and-switch, it seems. HTC announced the HTC 10 earlier today but also announced the HTC 10 Lifestyle. So what’s the difference between the original and the lifestyle version? Well, it’s similar in looks and design to the original HTC 10 but swaps out the processor, RAM and LTE speed.

HTC 10 Lifestyle comes with Qualcomm’s 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB RAM and Cat. 6 LTE and though rest of the hardware set remains the same, we’ll have to wait and see how the phone is priced in countries like India where apparently, HTC will only release the Lifestyle version and not the higher spec’d HTC 10.
