Apple schedules an event on March 21

The rumours were swirling for a March event for Apple and right on the money, Apple has now announced that they’ve something to share on March 21. As always the invite does not reveal the agenda but the invite copy reads “Let us loop you in,” which if you consider the recent developments related to Apple, there’s a lot to interpret. The timing of the event is interesting because it falls just a day before Apple’s court date for iPhone encryption and the event could be a way for Apple to show how serious they are with respect to the user’s security.

However, if we talk about the devices, Apple is rumoured to announce the new smaller iPhone SE. The phone is expected to be similar in size to the iPhone 5 but hardware similar to iPhone 6s. Other hardware rumours include a new iPad with Apple Pencil support and most likely an update for Apple Watch.
