There are many wearable and connected devices on display at the CES but one product that seemed interesting enough to garner our attention is TempTraq. The basic premise of TempTraq is to track body temperature of a human being and report back the temperature reading to the Android or the iOS app after a certain amount of time.
The thing that makes it interesting is its Band-Aid like patch that one needs to apply to record the temperature readings. The company says the patch works for 24 hours and is soft enough to apply to toddlers who create a problem with a thermometer.
Constant monitoring of the temperature means the user can be notified in case the temperature rises or drops abnormally.
TempTraq will be released once it gets an approval from the FDA.
