Amkette introduces Android and Media Centre variants of its Evo TV

Amkette Evo TV

Amkette has introduced the Android Central (AC) and Media Centre (MC) variants of its successful Evo TV media player. Both the variants run Android 4.0.4 OS and are powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex processor along with 1GB RAM.

Common features for both the variants include an improved user interface with the ability to play content off the hard drive, install Android apps and games, stream video content from YouTube and other video sites and a touch sensor remote control.

The AC version adds support for motion gaming and mic built-in the remote control for voice and calls.

Amkette sells the Evo TV MC for Rs. 5,500 while the Evo TV AC will go for Rs. 6,500.
