The last time we met with LG, the Indian unit expected their latest flagship phone to reach the Indian shores sometime in July but a confirmation from the HQ today puts the device a month ahead of the schedule. LG Korea has announced that its 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro will be released all over Asia starting with Hong Kong and gradually rolling out in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Philippine, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The Optimus G Pro will take on the current flagship devices like Sony’s Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One with its meaty specs like a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p IPS display, Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP and 2MP camera and variety of camera features like Dual Camera, Dual Recording, VR Panorama and Smart Video.
The phone will also have a 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot and a removable 3140mAh battery.
