Amazon’s App Store that was limited to US and few European countries is now accessible in nearly 200 countries. In addition to India, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Papua New Guinea and Vatican City are some of the countries where apps from the Amazon’s App Store will be available.
The unique proposition of the Amazon App Store is a free app every day. Every day, Amazon allows users to download a paid app for free every day, thus giving an incentive to users to use the store frequently.
The App Store access also means Amazon may plan to launch its Kindle Fire tablets in new regions.
