If Apple’s rumoured iWatch and Samsung’s confirmation about their iteration of smart watch was not enough, we’ve got new reports claiming Google and LG to jump in the bandwagon as well. As for Google, Financial Times claims their version of Smart Watch will be built by the Android team, unlike Glass that is being spearheaded by Google’s X Labs.
Meanwhile, Korea Times says LG too, will join the smart watch race and will hopefully be powered by Android OS.
While, Apple and Google’s efforts could be termed as their first, Korea-based LG and Samsung are not oblivious to the form factor. Back in 2009, both LG and Samsung were competing with their version of watchphones, completely fitted with GSM radios.
