Nokia has expanded its Asha range with two new touchscreen-enabled phones. Touted as the most affordable capacitive touchscreen phone from Nokia, both Asha 308 and 309 are similar in design in specs and design with the only difference in connectivity, which is dual-SIM in case of Asha 308 and single-SIM with Wi-Fi on the Asha 309.
Both devices offer a ‘swipe’ UI and feature a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, multiple home screens, Easy Swap technology to change SIM card without having to restart the phone (308 only), Wi-Fi (309 only), loud speakers, stereo FM and microSD card support up to 32GB.
On the software front, the phones come with free 40 games from EA, Facebook and Twitter apps and support for Nokia Nearby and Life+ web apps.
Nokia Asha 308 and 309 will be available from Q4 2012 at a price of around US$99.
