Google is expanding Nexus 7’s availability with Japan being the latest country to receive Google’s maiden tablet. Japanese consumers can now buy the Nexus 7 tablet from Google’s Play Store for 19,800 yen or wait till October 2 to pick it up from Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera, and Joshin retail outlets.
Google’s Eric Schmidt was in the land of the rising sun to announce the tablet and Google Play Books who also confirmed that Japan is the third country to record a high number of Google Play installs and about 75 percent of Android users make more purchases than anywhere else.
Nexus 7 is now available in 8 countries.
