LG Pocket Photo Printer enables on-the-go printing for Android devices

What is one thing you always take with you when you head out? Your phone, of course! And if you happen to own an Android, LG has unveiled a Pocket Photo Printer that allows users to take print outs of the clicked photographs with just a tap.

The small printer works in conjunction with Bluetooth or NFC and an Android app that will enable users to apply Instagram-like filters, QR codes, text right before you hit the print button.

LG says another advantage of the printer is that it does not require any ink cartridge or ribbon since it uses ZINK (Zero Ink) technology. The photo is printed with the heat from a ZINK-enabled device that activates the color-forming chemistry within the ZINK Paper.

The Pocket Photo printer will sell for 189,000 won while the 10 sheets of ZINK paper will cost 5,000 won.
