Lenovo has announced their first Windows 8 powered tablet – ThinkPad 2. This business-centric tablet will arrive in October alongside the launch of Windows 8 and replace the current Android-running ThinkPad tablet.
As far as hardware features are concerned, the tablet will boast 4G LTE connectivity in US whereas it will support HSPA+ elsewhere, sport a 10.1-inch 1366×768 IPS display, Intel Atom processor, micro-HDMI out, 8MP and 2MP cameras etc. Lenovo will also sell an optional keyboard and dock that can be paired with the tablet for more PC-like computing in the office.
There’s no word on the price.
