Sony has announced two new Xperia devices – Xperia GX and Xperia SX tailored for the Japanese market. The first phones to sport the Sony branding, both these devices are equipped with LTE that promises a download speed of up to 75Mbps and feature a dual-core 1.5GHz processor running Android 4.0.
The features that differentiate both the phones are display, camera and internal storage. Xperia GX comes with a 4.6-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 13Mp camera with Exmor R lens, HD video recording support and 16GB internal memory.
Xperia SX on the other hand is touted as the lightest LTE smartphone that weighs just 95g and comes with a 3.7-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 8MP camera with Exmor R Lens and video recording support and 8GB internal storage.
Additionally both support HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Walkman support etc.
Xperia GX and Xperia SX will be available in the Japanese market from summer 2012.
