Looks like we’ll see an emergence of portrait QWERTY phones running Android OS. To combat the Blackberry and other Android devices like Samsung Galaxy Pro, LG has announced an affordable Optimus Pro C660. In addition to the contoured four-row keyboard, the phone runs on the latest version of Android OS aka Gingerbread. Additionally, the phone is said to have a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a 3MP camera, Wi-Fi and GPS.
The phone is priced at 179 euros and will be available in Italy soon.
