We’ve often asked ourselves how big screen a mobile phone should have? Last year, the norm was in and around 4-inches and this year it was increased to about 4.3-inches. No, we’re not counting Dell’s 5-incher coz it was pitched as a tablet with support for phone functionality.
Now it seems HTC will up the screen size to 4.7-inches with the new Eternity phone. Eternity will be HTC’s upcoming WP7 phone and if the specs turn out as the rumored one, we just might have a WP7 device that will be competitive with smartphones powered by other OSes.
Additionally, you’ll find a single-core 1.5GHz processor, 8MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 16GB storage, DLNA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1,650mAh battery.
The phone should be out sometime this year tagging along with the Mango update.
