Opera Browser will come pre-installed on Toshiba’s Regza HbbTV sets

Opera today confirmed that its Opera browser will come pre-loaded on Toshiba’s HbbTV supporting Regza VL and WV line of TVs. HbbTV is the latest standard in Europe that brings broadband and broadcast technology for an integrated experience. With the help of Opera browser, users will be able to enjoy strong support for web standards on their television sets that uses the same core architecture as Opera’s desktop version.

British users will also have access to BBC iPlayer on their HbbTV supporting televisions.
