Walmart is selling 16GB iPhone 3GS price for $97

While AT&T and Apple are sticking to 16GB iPhone 3GS’ original price, Walmart is now selling the iPhone 3GS for just $97. That’s a good $102 discount on the existing model and makes it at par with 8GB iPhone 3G, which means the older iPhone is about to be discontinued or will be given out for free. We don’t know the iPhone 3G’s fate yet but it’s certain that this WWDC will make way for the new iPhone.

The phone can be picked up from your local Walmart if you’re least bothered about what new things the iPhone 4G will bring.
