We heard a mention of Google preparing hardware for its Chrome OS but the rumor didn’t say anything its specs. Now an article from IBTimes claims the full specs, which, if it has an ounce of truth, could be the next powerful netbook (or smartbook).
IBTimes confirms our loose speculation about ARM processor – Google’s Chrome OS netbook will feature a Tegra CPU (probably Tegra 2) and will come with a 10.1-inch HD ready screen. It will also have 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD and other features like Wi-Fi, USB ports, Bluetooth, Ethernet, 3G, card reader etc.
As for the price IBTimes reckons it could be sold at $300 directly from Google or at subsidized rates with bundled 3G plans.
