
Seems the ongoing semiconductor war between Intel and AMD will end soon. Intel and AMD have reached an agreement where they’ve decided to end all legal disputes and focus on innovation. Both the companies have entered into a cross licensing agreement for 5 years and Intel will pay AMD $1.25 billion along with an agreement to adhere to fair business practices.
This is a great deal for Intel – they caught AMD in a state of desperation, sadly. Just look at AMD’s balance sheet, and compare it’s fortunes with Intel’s over the last three years.
