Canon has made its mid-range EOS 7D DSLR official. Aimed at pros and advanced amateur photographers, the camera is touted as the most innovative and functional DSLR from Canon till date. Equipped with 18MP APS-C-sized CMOS sensor and dual DIGIC 4 Imaging processor, it will make sure the snaps captured won’t go unnoticed. It allows to capture continuous still photos at 8fps, sensitivity support from ISO 100-6400 (can be upped to 12,800) and features revamped 19-point AF with number of AF area selection modes, 3-inch LCD, RAW/JPEG quick toggle button.
The EOS 7D also supports full HD video recording that gives the option to record at frame rates of 24p, 25p and 30p. 720p and SD video can be recorded at 50p or 60p.
EOS 7D will reach retail shelves by end of September for $1699 or $1899 along with Canon’s EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens.

7D seems like it is packed with more features than the 5D MKii. now i am having a hard time choosing which one to buy.
