Toshiba has developed three memory cards that are claimed to be the world’s fastest. The cards include the world’s first 64GB SDXC and 16/32GB SDHC cards that use the latest SD Memory Standard Ver. 3.00 and promises to give a read speed of up to 60MB/s and write speed of 35MB/s.
The current fastest SDHC available in the market is from SanDisk that pumps a transfer rate of up to 30MB/s.
Toshiba plans to start the sample shipments of SDXC cards in November, SDHC cards from December while the cards will start retailing from Spring next year.
