Blackberry Storm was RIM’s first experiment with touchscreen phones. Though many liked the attempt, the exclusion of Wi-Fi and the hyped SurePress screen was a downer. Now according to a Dutch channel sales manager, RIM is looking to do the wrong things right.
The Storm 2 will feature Wi-Fi and have a new touchscreen that will drastically improve typing speed over the current Storm.
The release date is uncertain but Slashgear pins for a September release while the Dutch wireless carrier speculates for late 2009/10.
