Microsoft is dropping another BlueTrack enabled mouse in the market just after the recently announced Explorer and Mini Explorer mouse. The SideWinder X8 comes to offer gamers the benefit to use their mouse on any surface giving them a tracking range from 250 to 4,000 dpi. It runs on 2.4GHz band giving the mouse a near zero latency and lag free play. Easy dpi switching, a small LCD on the mouse to quickly see the current settings, in-game macro support and more than 30 hours of gaming possible on a single charge makes it one of the advanced mouse available for gamers.
Amazon has started taking pre-orders, but the mouse will retail from February 2009 for $100.
