SSDs are all over the place now. Given its advantages over the platter based HDDs, Solid state disks are bound to take over them someday. And Samsung being an active producer of it has announced 2.5†and 1.8†64GB SATA II SSDs which has a faster read/write speed.
The new SSDs can now read at a speed of 120MB/s and write at 100MB/s. This is much faster than its SATA I predecessor.
