Stone supports WMA/MP3 formats and has a 10 hour battery life. It is available now from Creative’s website at a price of $40 (almost half of Shuffle).
Let’s take a look at some of the differentiating factors between both these competitive products.

Ok. We all know that iPod Shuffle is the best. But if you’re a bit price conscious and could do with only WMA/MP3 songs, ZEN Stone is the one for you. What to do of the extra $40 you saved by not buying Shuffle? You could get Stone accessories well under $40.
BAM says
I accidentally washed and dried my zenstone today…
I was mad.
but I figured $30 I could have another.
for giggles I blew it out with my compressor in my shop (I paint cars)
and plugged it into my cpu…. let it charge/
and I’m listening to it right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m frickin amazed.
I would buy 10 more if I needed to… the reason I got an MP3 in the first place was because I killed 3 cd players with overspray from painting…. the zen stone has a fat coat of overspray on it and it still works ( not to mention the washer/dryer incident)
my only beef is the volume doesn’t go up load enough for my stereo.
