If you thought Greenphone was some enivronment friendly product, then you’re wrong. This phone is from Trolltech better known as the Qtopia Greenphone and runs on Linux OS. The phone comes with a software development kit (SDK) to enable developers to modify, create or test Linux based mobile applications on a GSM/GPRS phone. It also has a 1.3 megapixel camera but is not intended to be sold commercially.

The phone is currently being demonstrated at LinuxWorld, San Francisco and will be releasing in September in limited numbers.
