If you were waiting for the Xbox 360’s price to be dropped, now wait no more coz there will be no price change. According to MS gaming insider blog, there will be no change in price considering the fact that it was the first next gen console to be launched and has a far number of units sold whereas other next gen consoles are not released yet.
It’s probably worth repeating that it takes a mere $299 (US) to join the next generation. You get hi-def game play, Xbox Live Silver for free, DVD movie playback, and MP3 player integration so you can listen on the awesome system you have hooked up to your home theater speakers. You can add a hard drive and wireless controllers when you have a few extra bucks. And with Xbox Live, you can be online and pwning your so-called gamer friends as soon as you hook up the system.

They certainly have the early mover advantage. But I think once Sony and Nintendo catch up, they will have to drop the price eventually. It’s just a matter of time.
