Nokia’s bid to establish its hold in the US market has again misfired. This time it does not deal with phone recalls but for the payment options of its to be launched Ovi Store. The one-stop shop from Nokia will not offer operator billing option for customers buying content from US. The reason for the withdrawal is not known but now only eight countries will support operator billing – Australia, Britain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Singapore and Spain. US customers are left with only one mode of payment i.e. credit cards.
