If you’re compelled to give your netbook a much needed friend, LG has announced 2.5-inch XD5 Mini HDDs. It does not offer anything extra but it comes with “My netbook friend” written just to make your netbook feel special.

Otherwise, the curvy 13mm thin XD5 Mini comes in capacities of 320GB and 500GB and supports SATA II interface for a faster and efficient data transfer.

XD5 Mini will initially sell in South Korea for Korean won equivalent of $86 (320GB) and $120 (500GB).
