Creative has announced Zen X-Fi Style and Zen Style (pictured above) PMPs. The media players tout to give astounding music quality at an affordable price. The Zen X-Fi delivers the goodness of Creative’s X-Fi technology, found in the Zen X-Fi2. It comes in capacities of 8/16/32GB and features a 2.4-inch TFT display, FLAC support, FM Radio, voice recorder, loudspeakers, RSS feeds support (needs to be downloaded on the PC first) and battery life of up to 25 hours of audio and 5 hours of video.

The Zen Style range comprises of Style 100 and Style 300 players. The player features a 1.8-inch display, voice recorder, up to 32 hours of audio playback and comes in 4/8/16GB storage options. The Style 300 also adds in FM Radio and loudspeakers.

The Zen X-Fi Style pricing will start from S$159 (US$114) whereas the Zen Style starts from S$89 (US$64).

Creative launched a slew of products in the Indian market ranging from a pocket camcorder to PMP to sound devices. Creative’s pocket HD camcorder, Vado HD entered its third generation to bring further improvements over its predecessors. The Vado HD now boasts improved low light video recording with the help of manual exposure settings, external stereo mic support, out-of-the-box PC and Mac compatibility, Motion detection that initiates recording on sensing a movement and the ability to capture still images. The Vado HD will sell for Rs. 14,999.

ZEN X-Fi’s second iteration also got the official treatment. The X-Fi2 which is already selling in few regions, will sell in India with storage capacities ranging from 8 to 32GB. It’s the first Creative PMP to have a 3-inch touchscreen display and feature X-Fi technology to enhance audio quality, RSS reader, DivX/XviD support, radio and voice recording function. Zen X-Fi2 will sell for R. 8,999 (8GB), Rs.11,999 (16GB) and Rs. 14,999 (32GB).

Creative also launched the MkII series of Fatal1y’s gaming headsets that are endorsed by renowned gamer, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel. This professional gaming headset are designed to deliver comfort and performance with its mesh grill accents, adjustable microphone and gold-plated stereo plugs to deliver top quality audio. Its priced Rs. 4,999.

If you’ve been looking for a cheap touchscreen enabled PMP, Creative has got something for you. It’s the Zen X-Fi2 that swaps buttons from the original X-Fi player with a decent 3-inch LCD touchscreen. In addition to the touch element, Creative claims to implement the latest X-Fi technology that will improve audio playback on all fronts – music, video and FM radio.

The player comes in 8/16/32GB storage options with microSD card slot to add extra memory. Other features include DivX, XviD support, FM Radio, loudspeaker, RSS feeds support, TV-out and voice recording.

The player will be available in the next few weeks but can be pre-ordered now for $130/180/230 depending on the storage.
