The upcoming CES will be a special one for Lenovo because they are going to show off first-of-its-kind laptop that sports dual LCD. It is the same 17-inch ThinkPad W700 that was launched in August, but this time the main screen hides a small 10.6-inch screen behind it.

The W700ds, as they call it, features the same specifications as W700 like Intel Quad Core mobile processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, Nvidia Quadro FX GPU giving 128 cores of CUDA parallel processing power and dual HDD/SSD bays for cramming up 960GB of data that supports RAID interface. It also has the WACOM digitizer pen, which is nothing but an electronic drawing pad and a color calibrator.

The main 17-inch screen is the brightest of the lot which is rated at 400 nits. The small 10.6-inch screen however, displays content in portrait mode and the user can tilt the screen up to 30 degrees.

Analysts have even predicting that this laptop will strike a perfect chord with the photographers, developers and others who vie for enhancing productivity.

Such an appealing notebook comes at a price, which in this case, starts from $3600.
