Uncharted has been a very important franchise for Sony’s PS3 console and good news for Uncharted fans is that the third part in the series has been announced. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception takes Nathan Drake to the desert in search of Atlantis of the Sands.

Developers of the game, Naughty Dog have promised to take advantage of the game’s advanced physics and visual effects and will concentrate on co-op multiplayer. Another addition to the game is the support for high-resolution 3D.

The game is expected to be released in Fall 2011.

160GB PS3 Limited Edition

 

SCE’s second announcement at the Leipzig Games Convention was a 160GB PS3. The PAL markets will get the consoles on 31st October while the US market is slated for a November launch. The date is slipped a few days back because the Americans will be getting a limited edition with Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and PAIN voucher bundle with the console.

The new console will pack the latest DualShock 3 Wireless controller. European price: 449 Euros; US price: $500.
