Lenovo was rumored to unveil a ThinkPad tablet and it seems they’ve done it, albeit inadvertently. A plethora of press images of the new ThinkPad tablet has been published by Lenovo on their Picasa account. We don’t have the exact details yet but it seems the first rumor was spot on as the image matches with the press picture.

Expectedly, the ThinkPad tablet will target professionals and going by the pictures, the tablet seems to run Honeycomb OS. Interestingly, the tablet has four physical buttons, which is a first for a Honeycomb tablet and Stylus pen support for note-taking. Other known features are the front and back facing camera, 3G connectivity and dock support that will presumably allow users to not only watch multimedia content but also output presentations.

Now let’s hope Lenovo comes clean with this business tablet soon.

Lenovo today announced that its ThinkPad line of laptops will reach a major milestone this month. Lenovo says ThinkPad notebooks that started selling 18 years ago will cross sales of 60m unit this month, which is equivalent to about 14 laptops sold every minute.

To commemorate this landmark, Lenovo has introduced Nvidia’s Optimus technology to few ThinkPad notebooks like T410, T410s and T510. For the uninitiated, Optimus monitors user’s tasks and switches to discrete graphics in case of a graphic demanding task or integrated graphics if working on say, an Office document. This helps to extend the laptop’s battery life by up to 33 percent.

Prices for T410 and T510 begin from $1,299 whereas T410s’ price starts from $1,849.
