Samsung, responsible for churning out ‘world’s first’ products, and will now claim to another first in the industry. They have announced that they will showcase their slimmest LED backlit HDTV at the CES which measures not more than 6.5mm – 7mm in thickness. That’s pretty slim considering LG was touting its almost 25mm TV as the slimmest. Other details are pretty scarce at the moment but the TVs are expected to come in sizes starting from 40” to 55”.

If LG monitor’s power saving capability were to be added in Asus’s latest offering, it would make a killer combination. But if style matters more for you then LS221H LCD monitor is the thing to look for. It is the slimmest 22-inch LCD which measures just 248mm and comes with aesthetically clean lines, diamond-cut corners, piano-painted glossy black chassis and genuine leather on the lower half of the panel. BenQ has come up with T850 camera which claims to be the world’s slimmest measuring just 14.9mm. It is an 8 megapixel shooter cam with PENTAX Lens, 1600 ISO support, 3x optical zoom, a 3-inch touchscreen display and some features like Smile recognition, face tracking and swipe interface just like we have on iPhone. It will be available soon in China and other countries at a undisclosed price.
