Sony has added another dimension to the generally bland digital photo frames. The DPP-F700 photo frame features a 7-inch WVGA (800×480) display to view pictures and additionally, an integrated printer, just in case you want a particular photo instantly. The printer can print up to 4×6-inch photo at 300dpi resolution in under 45 seconds.

The frame also allows to adjust various settings like enlarge, reduce, crop, and brightness, contrast, hue and sharpness before hitting the print button. Creative Print mode brings in 30 different templates for users to make a picture calendar or a screen capture mode that prints exactly what is displayed on the screen during a slideshow.

As for storing capability, it comes with a gig of internal memory and pictures can transferred via USB or from memory cards including Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Secure Digital (SD), SDHC, Multi-Media Card (MMC), Compact Flash and xD-Picture Card.

The DPP-F700 photo frame will be available in January next year for about $200.
