<p>With an aim to expand its operations in India, Belkin yesterday announced their new series of mouse and keyboards for the Indian market. The new range includes both wired and wireless options that start from an affordable sub-Rs. 400 price tag and go up to Rs. 2,700.</p>
<p>The wired keyboards support PS/2 as well as USB connectivity and comes with a set of multimedia keys for quicker access to some applications. Some mouse in the range are compatible to both USB and PS/2 and boast an optical sensor ranging from 800 DPI to a nice 1600 DPI. Moreover, Belkin touts its range to be ergonomically designed and comfortable for both left and right handers. </p>
<p>All products come with a 3-year limited warranty.</p>

<p>Epson has unveiled their new LED laser printers for the Indian market. Boasting a variety of monochrome, colour as well as all-in-one devices, the printers come with LED technology that ensures high quality and high speed prints without taking much of desk space and power. Printers have a 20,000 pages monthly cycle and feature print speeds of up to 24 pages per minute in black or 12 pages per minute in colour.</p>
<p>The new LED laser printer range starts from an affordable <span class="WebRupee">Rs.</span>5,350 and goes up to <span class="WebRupee">Rs.</span>19,500.</p>

<p>LG has announced an interesting product that will make scanning documents a swipe of the mouse. Literally. LG has developed LSM-100 mouse which integrates scanning functionality. With the built-in Smart Scan button on the mouse, a user just have to press it and swipe across the page to start scanning. The scanned image can then be saved in many file types like PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS and DOC. The mouse also features Optical Character Recognition technology that converts scanned text into an editable Word document. </p>
<p>Another advantage of having scanner functionality in the mouse is that the scanning is not restricted by the are. The mouse can swiped to scan pages to up to A3 in size. </p>
<p>Despite the unique scanning feature, LG is quick to note that the mouse is a high-end mouse with accurate laser sensor, durable and features an ergonomic design. </p>
<p>LG will showcase the Mouse Scanner at IFA 2011.</p>

<p>Razer has announced two special editions of its best-selling MMO Razer Naga mouse. For Razer and MMO fans, the Naga mouse, in addition to a regular one, will now be available in two variants – Naga Maelstrom and Naga Molten Special Editions.</p>
<p>Both the editions have the same features as original Naga like full button remapping and macro capability, 5600dpi laser sensor, 1ms response time but feature different design like a depiction of a vortex (Maelstrom) or glowing lava-red fissures (Molten).</p>
<p>Both the mouse will be available from November for $79.99 or €79.99.</p>

<p>Samsung India has bolstered the printer market with the introduction of new mono laser printers, network and multifunction printers. Samsung expects to capture about 30 percent of the laser printer market share and the product that can contribute majorly is ML-1666. ML-1666 is world’s smaller laser printer that prints up to 16 pages per minute and is aggressively priced at Rs. 5,499.</p>
<p>Additionally, three other mono laser printers announced are ML-1911, ML-2526 and ML-2581N. All these printers have a monthly duty cycle of up to 12,000 pages, 8MB memory, up to 24 pages per minute capacity and boast ‘Printelligent’ features like Toner Save, Smart Panel, One Touch print screen and AnyWeb printing. The ML-1911, ML-2526 and ML-2581N are priced at Rs. 6,499, Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 12,999.</p>
<p>Filling up the multifunction printer range are SCX-4601, SCX-4623FH and SCX-4623FN. The first two are normal multifunction printers whereas the last one is a network-ready MFP. All the printers boast an impressive 22ppm and other features that are optimal for use in the SMB environment. The prices of the printers are as follows: SCX-4601 – Rs. 9,999; SCX-4623FH – Rs. 14,499; and SCX-4623FN – Rs. 15,499.</p>

<p>Apple Store’s downtime is an indication of new incoming products and expectedly, the Cupertino-based company have returned announcing a fleet of products. To start with, Apple’s Mighty Mouse is now transformed into Magic Mouse bragging the first rights to bring multi-touch technology to mice. Magic Mouse adopts all the intuitive finger gestures instead of conventional buttons. </p>
<p>The mouse works on the laser tracking system that enables it to work on more surfaces and uses Bluetooth connectivity to communicate with the machine. Magic Mouse will be bundled with the new iMac or can be bought for $69.</p>

<p>Apple’s all-in-one computer, iMac line also got additions in the form of LED-backlit 21.5- and 27-inches displays with edge-to-edge glass design and aluminum enclosure. These are the most powerful iMacs that start with Core 2 Duo processors but can be upgraded to Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs. </p>
<p>The graphics on the 21.5-inch iMac is handled by integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M or ATI Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics card while 27-inch iMac can be hooked up with ATI Radeon HD 4670 or 4850. As for remaining specs, the iMacs support up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB HDD, slot-loading SuperDrive, Mini DisplayPort, USB ports, FireWire 800 and SD card slot. iMac starts from $1,199.</p>
<p>Mac Mini too, has got a bump on the hardware front. The $599, the lunch-box Mac gets 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, GeForce 9400M GPU, 5 USB ports, FireWire900 and SuperDrive. On the other hand, the $799 gets a 2.53GHz C2D CPU, 4GB RAM and 320GB HDD. Apple also offers a $999 Mac Mini model that is specifically made for Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server. This edition boasts two 500GB HDD taking the storage to an ample 1TB mark.</p>

<p>Finally, Apple’s polycarbonate Macbook has got a makeover taking it closer to Macbook Pro but keeping the price under $1000. The new Macbook has got an unibody design, LED-backlit screen, multi-touch trackpad and flushed battery giving up to 7 hours of runtime. </p>
<p>The Macbook specs sheet includes 13.3-inch LED screen, 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, GeForce 9400M GPU, SuperDrive, Mini DisplayPort, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, iSight webcam and USB ports. </p>

<p>Epson India have announced an affordable Stylus Office T1100 inket printer targeted at small and medium business users. The printer is capable of printing up to A3+ size and is equipped with Epson Micro Piezo print head technology, Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) that gives a maximum print resolution of 5760&#215;1440 dpi as well as DURABrite Ultra inks supporting INKdividual cartridge system. </p>
<p>T1100 can print up to 30 (black) or 17 (color) A4-sized pages per minute while consuming only 26 watts of power. Epson Stylus Office T1100 will be available from this month carrying a price tag of Rs. 14,999.</p>
