Olympus has got a new point-and-shoot camera to capture moments in the ‘toughest’ of times. The Mju Tough-6010 is Olympus’ answer to all the photographic needs during your next hike to the mountains. The camera is shock, water and freezeproof. It can withstand drops from up to 1.5m height, survive in up to 3m of water or work flawlessly even in temperatures about -10C degrees.

In addition to its rugged prowess, the camera takes decent pictures too, with its 12MP sensor, 3.6X optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD, dual image stabilization, face detection, TAP control, Magic filters to give an extra touch to the snaps and support for xD as well as microSD cards.

The camera will start selling from this month in UK for £299.
