<p>AMD at CES announced the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4000 Series GPUs for laptops. Bringing all the coolness of the desktop HD 4000 Series, the Mobility variant of HD 4000 will also support DirectX 10.1, HD content playback and CrossFireX technology. Different 4XXX series will further target different categories like HD 4300 for thin and light notebooks, 4500 for better battery life or 4800 for gaming performance. </p>
<p>The first ATI Mobility Radeon GPU powered notebooks have been launched by Asus – ASUS N51Tp and N81Vp with HD 4650 and F81Se with HD 4570 GPU.</p>
