Apple Store’s downtime is an indication of new incoming products and expectedly, the Cupertino-based company have returned announcing a fleet of products. To start with, Apple’s Mighty Mouse is now transformed into Magic Mouse bragging the first rights to bring multi-touch technology to mice. Magic Mouse adopts all the intuitive finger gestures instead of conventional buttons.

The mouse works on the laser tracking system that enables it to work on more surfaces and uses Bluetooth connectivity to communicate with the machine. Magic Mouse will be bundled with the new iMac or can be bought for $69.

Apple’s all-in-one computer, iMac line also got additions in the form of LED-backlit 21.5- and 27-inches displays with edge-to-edge glass design and aluminum enclosure. These are the most powerful iMacs that start with Core 2 Duo processors but can be upgraded to Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs.

The graphics on the 21.5-inch iMac is handled by integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M or ATI Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics card while 27-inch iMac can be hooked up with ATI Radeon HD 4670 or 4850. As for remaining specs, the iMacs support up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB HDD, slot-loading SuperDrive, Mini DisplayPort, USB ports, FireWire 800 and SD card slot. iMac starts from $1,199.

Mac Mini too, has got a bump on the hardware front. The $599, the lunch-box Mac gets 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, GeForce 9400M GPU, 5 USB ports, FireWire900 and SuperDrive. On the other hand, the $799 gets a 2.53GHz C2D CPU, 4GB RAM and 320GB HDD. Apple also offers a $999 Mac Mini model that is specifically made for Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server. This edition boasts two 500GB HDD taking the storage to an ample 1TB mark.

Finally, Apple’s polycarbonate Macbook has got a makeover taking it closer to Macbook Pro but keeping the price under $1000. The new Macbook has got an unibody design, LED-backlit screen, multi-touch trackpad and flushed battery giving up to 7 hours of runtime.

The Macbook specs sheet includes 13.3-inch LED screen, 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, GeForce 9400M GPU, SuperDrive, Mini DisplayPort, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, iSight webcam and USB ports.

Executing actions via multi-touch gestures on a trackpad is cool. Apple’s been offering this technology on their Macbooks and so do the new netbooks have it but people who use desktop PCs or older notebooks are deprived of this tech.

However, Filco from Japan looks to fulfill those multi-touch wishes by selling SmartTrack Neo which is a small calculator sized USB trackpad.

The functioning is simple. Plug the device in a Windows machine and use it like a laptop’s trackpad but with multi-touch. It goes for a worthy $50.

A lady with overworked gray cells has got a simple yet marketable product that can keep your mouse hand warm in a chilly environment. The Mouse Hand Warmer is nothing but a small 12 X 12 inches blanket where you put your mouse and hand in it to feel the warmness inside.

It will cost $15 for a lazy guy suffering from cold mouse hand syndrome but it may cost cheaper if you’re a DIY guy like me.

How do you improvise a product like keyboard so users will be interested to buy it? HP designers couldn’t think of anything impressive and rolled out a new wireless typing peripheral by sticking a key which emulates the function of CTR-ALT-DEL keys. Come one HP what were you thinking? They definitely knew we’ll say wtf! However, to make things a bit reasonable, a wireless mouse is also included in the package. It is priced at $80 and a good buy if you’re looking out for a wireless combo peripheral option which also has the CTR-ALT-DEL key magic.
