While most Android manufacturers have turned down the possibility of integrating Android 4.0 in lower-spec’d devices, HTC is making an exception in the Desire C. Desire C’s specs maybe mediocre by today’s range of smartphones but the fact it will run the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich OS will make it a lucrative buy.

The specs leaked by Vodafone Portugal includes a 600MHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display (320×480) display, HSDPA, 4GB internal memory, 5MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi etc.

While we don’t have any details regarding the availability, GSMArena expects the device to be priced at under 200 euros.

Retail devices running BlackBerry 10 OS are not expected until the latter half of this year but some images of a developer device running the latest BB OS is doing the rounds. Scored by CrackBerry, there’s not even a single glimpse of the upcoming OS but gives a good look at the phone, which looks like a mashup of iPhone 4 and Galaxy S II.

CrackBerry quickly points out this device should not be taken as an indication for the final retail unit as this will be used by developers to test out their apps.

RIM may reveal more details on the BlackBerry 10 at the BlackBerry World Agenda that starts from tomorrow.

Leaks of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy device are coming thick and fast. After a set of images and a video of I9300 leaked a few days back, new images of the device have surfaced that reveals something interesting – the presence of a physical home button. This leak corroborates the previous claims that Samsung is circulating quite a few prototypes to test the device and thus keep the final design under wraps.

Disappointingly, we don’t have any specs to go with the new leak but we do expect it to be similar along with a slightly revamped TouchWiz.

Samsung will unveil the device on May 3 in London.

Oh look! Here’s a video of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S III. Although the original video has been yanked, a backup video on YouTube shows the disguised device as well as reveal some specs. Identified as GT-I9300, the phone is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz processor and 1GB RAM, enabling a smoother Ice Cream Sandwich experience.

Additionally, the phone features a 4.6-inch display with 720p display (320DPI), 8MP camera, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2050mAh battery with integrated NFC.

Do note that the design of the phone may change when it is revealed but the internals will most likely be the same.

Sony seems to be working on a new tablet that will pip the current-generation Tablet S and Tablet P devices. The new tablet, according to a result on NenaMark is known as V150. Unlike the Tablet S and Tablet P that are powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, the V150 has Tegra 3 as its brain. As for the other known specs, the new tablet’s clock speed is 1.4GHz, runs Android 4.0.3 OS and has a display resolution support of 1280×752 pixels.

There are no other details as to which tablet it will supersede but shouldn’t be surprising to see it taking place of Tablet S in the near future.

The site claims in addition to London, RIM is also preparing two other devices codenamed Laguna and Lisbon for US market to cater to operators like AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.

It seems Samsung churns out devices faster than any other mobile phone manufacturer in the world. Take a look at the newly leaked Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070). Its basically an upgrade to the original Galaxy S but has been spec’d lower than Galaxy S’ successor – Galaxy S II.

The phone’s peculiar features are its new slim design, a curved 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display and most importantly, 1GHz dual-core processor. As for other features, the phone runs on Android 2.3.6 and comes with 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.

Samsung is keeping mum at the moment but we reckon the Korean company will have more to say at MWC next month. For now, take a look at the pictures and couple of videos showing its gaming prowess and some features.

New images of Sony Ericsson Arc HD aka Nozomi has been published by GSMArena. The phone adopts a clean rectangular look but does not go for a slender design opposed to the recent handset trend.

Arc HD will apparently be the first device from Sony Ericsson to sport an HD resolution (1280×720 pixels) and will feature a 4.3-inch LCD screen, 12MP camera with full HD recording, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor with Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB RAM.

It will also come with an HDMI port, 16 or 32GB of storage space (no expandable), microSIM slot and a non-user-removable battery.

There’s no word on the exact availability but we should expect it to hear at the CES next month.
