There have been many solutions to purify impure water but the Skywater machines from Island Sky is a bit different. Its patented technology actually helps to create safe drinking water from thin air. The thin air is nothing but the water vapor that is grasped by Skywater to create hygienic water, which in optimum humid conditions produces up to 1,100 liters a day.

They have launched two models – one is home & office friendly Skywater 14 and another is water tank like Skywater 300. Both serve the same purpose but hold and produce different capacities of potable water. It is indeed a novel solution to end the water scarcity but one drawback it has, is that needs electricity to function. This could prove a major sales deterrent in countries facing electricity crisis. Maybe a solar powered Skywater could do the trick.
