Ok, we have heard some chirping about iPhone Nano before but the latest one is a bit twisted. Apparently, a source of a French blog claims that iPhone Nano is due in June and will be unveiled by Steve Jobs himself (quick reminder: Jobs is expected to be back in June). However, the iPhone Nano will carry the same screen as the current iPhone while the Home key will be moved on the right side to make it smaller. Rest of the features are also expected to be the same.

Brian Marshal of American Technology Research is claiming that Apple will launch the Nano version of iPhone this year. His statement about the launch which could be ‘early this year’ hints that it might be released in the first half of this year. But here’s the shocker. He says that his sources reveal that the phone hasn’t reached AT&T yet, which means US won’t be the first country to get it. Apple has always released its products first in the home market followed by other regions. This no US first statement is somewhat indigestible.

Marshal also predicted the revenue to boost by around $3-4billion for the financial year 2009 if his rumored prediction turns out to be true.

The gossipmongers are working overtime. According to them, Apple is purportedly working on the Nano version of iPhone and it should see the light somewhere before the Christmas eve. The iPhone Nano, they say will have a small candybar design but will win more hearts than the current iPhone. Yea? First give us our own iPhone in India and we’ll talk about the future later.

One was even heard saying about a touch wheel at the rear to dial numbers. How un-Appleish!
