With the plethora of devices leaked on different platforms, including Android and webOS, it may not fully wrong to believe that AT&T’s exclusive iPhone deal is nearing its end. Speculations aside, the phones that you’re going to witness now could be the exciting ones after iPhone.

HTC is expected to launch Warhawk, Fortress and Lancaster. Warhawk and Fortress are AT&T’s version of Touch Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2. On the other hand, Lancaster is an Android offering which you can look out for. It looks like HTC Magic but slide it and its full QWERTY keyboard is exposed. The triband GSM/dualband 3G phone will have a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, HTC’s social messaging UI, 3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and expandable memory.

Palm’s Eos showed its face almost couple of months back and here it is now, claiming to come out in the second half of 2009 packed with “new Palm OS experience.” The quadband GSM phone has 3G, QWERTY keyboard, 2.63-inch touchscreen, 4GB storage, email, MMS, IM, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 2MP camera and loaded with AT&T services. The phone is expected to cost $349 after mail-in rebate.

Nokia will be coming with four phones – Mako, Grouper, Thresher and Snapper. Mako (above) looks to be the interesting of the lot since it does not carry any design inspirations from previous Nokia models. Its small, compact, runs on S60 v3.2 and has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, dual-band HSDPA, A-GPS, 2MP camera, video share, 2.5mm headphone jack and microSD slot.

Thresher too, is claimed to be a newly designed device taking no design cues from other phones. It’s a glossy slider phone which comes with dual-band HSDPA, 3.2MP camera and A-GPS. Grouper aka 6750 Mural is also a S40 device and brings in HSDPA, A-GPS and a 2MP camera. Finally, it’s the Snapper, which gives an impression of a decent camera phone but in reality it’s a low-end clamshell phone doing triband HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1, 2MP camera and A-GPS.

Motorola is also expected to join the party with an Android powered Heron and Sawgrass. The Android Heron packs in a 2.8-inch, 3MP camera with flash, 3G and A-GPS. As for Sawgrass, it is rumored to be Alexander with 2MP camera, 2.5-inch screen, A-GPS.

HP’s idea to spread happiness is a single phone, iPAQ K3 or Obsidian. Good thing about K3 will be that it’s going to run on Windows Mobile 6.5 and will feature “large thumb sized QWERTY keys”, triband 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 256/512MB RAM/ROM, A-GPS, 2MP camera and couple of sensors like proximity and light.

Finally comes RIM’s foursome in the form of Onyx, Pearl 3G, Magnum and Gemini. We are no strangers to Onyx and Gemini but Magnum is expected to carry forward the evolved Blackberry Bold portfolio with the same processor as Bold, quadband GSM, QWERTY keyboard, HVGA touchscreen, GPS and Wi-Fi. Pearl 3G will go back to the Pearl roots doing away with the flip form factor and will have a SureType keyboard, 3.5mm audio jack, 3G, Bluetooth and A-GPS.
