Lenovo will be expanding its S10 netbook line with the S10-3t. The S10-3t is expected to be a touchscreen variant of S10-3 (which was also leaked by FCC) and though full features are not known, it’s expected to run on Pine Trail platform. A Chinese website also claims it will have a 10.1-inch screen, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and run Windows 7 OS. Hopefully, we’ll see the first multi-touch IdeaPad netbook at the CES next month.

The U450p has got a landing page that mentions few things like the 14-inch screen, CULV processor, optical drive but unfortunately fails to mention everything else. I’m hoping Lenovo will officially announce the notebook in a few days or fix the blooper (by removing the page altogether).

Lenovo’s IdeaPad S12 surely brings some excitement to the monotonous netbooks but apparently this excitement will need to wait till October. Blogeee came to know from its trustful source that Lenovo is mostly looking to launch IdeaPad S12 in two phases and in two different variants – one equipped with Ion and one without.

Lenovo will start selling a non-Ion based S12 Atom netbook soon and an Ion-based will make its way in October in France. The reason for the late launch is mostly because Lenovo wants to offer S12 with Windows 7 that boasts greater hardware support.

Ion-equipped S12 netbook is capable to playback full HD videos and playing games that are not resource demanding.
