<p>HP has announced a designer edition of its Mini 210 netbook to lure the fashionistas. Designed by renowned designer, Vivienne Tam, the Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition adopts a beautiful design which is inspired by a classic Chinese love story named Butterfly Lovers and is imprinted directly on the netbook’s lid so as to make it aesthetically appealing as well as provide durability. Additionally, this netbook is the first one from HP to integrate a software from Beats by Dr. Dre to enhance audio quality that was previously found only in HP’s Envy notebook lineup.</p>
<p>As for technical details, the netbook features a 10.1-inch LED backlit display, 2GB RAM, up to 320GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and webcam.</p>
<p>It will sell from March 19 for $599.</p>

<p>HP has announced five affordable digital cameras and camcorders that will be showcased at the PMA tradeshow in couple of days. The devices range from $99 to $199 and will be available in different colors and easy to use user interface.</p>
<p>The 12MP HP CW450t and PW460t are priced at $109 and $149 respectively and both feature a 2.7- and 3-inch touchscreen display along with 4x optical zoom, finger-swipe enabled UI, different scene modes and SDHC card slot supporting up to 32GB. Other cameras to be announced today are CW450 that is similar to CW450t but drops the touchscreen display; SW450 with 4x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD and is priced at $129; and PW550z that goes for $149 and features 5x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD.</p>
<p>The camcorders that made its debut are V5061u, V5560u and V1020h. The first two camcorders boast a 3-inch touchscreen display and support full HD video recording with motion detection capabilities. The V5561u comes with a SD/SDHC slot, Li-Ion battery and even space to install AA batteries in case the Li-Ion battery runs out of juice. The V5560u features 5x optical zoom. The V1020h, on the other hand, supports 720p HD recording and comes in a slim design. The V5061u, V5560u and V1020h will sell for $199, $169 and $109 respectively. </p>

<p>HP has added 110 XP, 110 Mi (Mobile Internet) and 1101 to the Mini Series netbooks. All the netbooks feature a 10.1-inch display along with processor options of Atom N270 or N280. The specifications are the usual but 110 XP gets few worthy options like Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video accelerator for viewing full HD content, a 32GB SSD or integrated 3G. The regular features include Windows XP, 1GB RAM and up to 250GB HDD. </p>
<p>The 110 Mi version is a simpler version of 110 XP and is aimed at users who plainly use their netbooks for internet surfing. It is powered by a Linux OS, Intel Atom processor, up to 2GB RAM and up to 250GB HDD. </p>
<p>Finally, the Mini 1101 for business class offers a number of OS options like Windows XP Home, XP Pro or Vista along with the same specs. </p>

<p>Don’t expect meaty details but according to <em>Bloomberg</em>, HP may launch an ARM based netbook soon. They are quoting HP’s Personal Systems VP, Todd Bradley who says that they are seriously considering it and also &#8220;the mini category is one that plays closely to ARM.&#8221; </p>
<p>HP’s ARM stint somewhat hints at a possible Android netbook which was <a href="http://sec.online.wsj.com/article/SB123852934905974845.html" target="_Blank">said</a> to be in the testing stages. </p>

<p>HP released their latest MediaSmart home servers, <strong>EX485</strong> and <strong>EX487</strong> in the US market. Apart from offering automatic backup facility for the Windows PCs, the new home servers will also support Mac systems which will use OS X’s Time Machine feature. </p>
<p>Glenn Roberts, product marketing manager at HP claims Mac is now a “first-class citizen” like Windows which can do automatic backups of photos, videos, data as well as stream music via iTunes. </p>
<p>Both, EX485 and EX487 will sell for <strong>$599</strong> and <strong>$749</strong> respectively with the only difference in their storage size – 750GB for the cheaper variant while 1.5TB for the expensive one. The common set involves Intel Celeron 2.0GHz 64-bit processors and 2GB RAM. </p>
