Videocon and Ducati today announced one of the first phones in their all new Ducati series. The V6200 will be available soon in the Indian market and according to Videocon, the phone has been created to give a complete “Mo-Biking” experience.

The phone features a rugged design and has a UI segregated into three modes – Phone, Fun and Sports. The Phone mode allows user to carry out normal functions like calling, messaging; Fun mode can be used to listen to music, watch videos or click pictures; and Sports mode hosts a set of interesting features like E-Compass, Thermometer, Barometer, Altimeter, Pedometer, GPS System and UV Sensor.

Additionally, the phone has a dual LED torch, 2.4-inch main display with a small OLED display at the back, 2MP camera, FM Radio, mobile tracker and pre-installed 4GB microSD card with MapmyIndia maps.

Videocon is bundling the phone Ducati branded Sports bottle & an armband carrying case. It will sell for Rs.12,000.

In the past, Ducati was associated with a USB flash drive maker. And now, Sony Ericsson has teamed up with Ducati to roll out Z770 clamshell phone with Ducati branding. The special edition will be hitting Italy this June and only the aesthetics of the phone has been changed along with a special Ducati HBH DS-220 headset.
