Samsung has officially announced the S7070 and S5150 phones that we saw couple of weeks back. The phones will be sold under the Diva brand and understandably reaching for the fairer sex.

The Diva (S7070) and Diva folder (S5150) boasts some features appealing to women, like the quilted back cover that claims to “emanate an haute couture look and feel”, Beauty and Lomo Effects to touch up photographs and other things like a wish list, etiquette mode and security options.

On the specs front, the S7070 comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 3.2MP camera, SOS message, Fake call and Pop-up SNS features for social butterflies.

As for S5150, the clamshell device features a hidden external LED screen dubbed as glittering LED to notify an incoming message or call, 2.2-inch internal display, SOS, Fake call etc.

The Diva Collection 2010 will be launched in January next year in Europe followed by Southeast Asia and China.

Starting with S5150 Olivia, the phone has a clamshell form factor with a small external display gracing the front beneath the mirror-like body. Other things confirmed in the Olivia are a 2.2-inch QVGA display and 3MP camera but going with the current feature trend, it won’t be surprising to find features like microSD card slot, Bluetooth or music player.

S7070 on the other hand, looks as a reincarnation of Star with touched up design and a new diamond center button. Specs-wise it includes 5MP camera, 3-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and FM Radio.

Both the phones are expected to hit retail shelves in Q1 2010.
