His claim in fact, puts up an interesting question. Is BL42, the real successor of Chocolate or BL40, which he refers to as ‘White’? We don’t know but maybe LG will officially clear the smoke when they reveal the full deets in August.

One sincere suggestion to LG. Get this thing out already otherwise the features will leak out in bits with nothing left for LG to show except for the press pictures. The Chocolate 2 or BL40 pictures were posted in a German forum and boy, this phone looks tall and sexy just like the supermodels.

In the specs department, it’s the same thing we have known before: 4-inch 21:9 aspect ratio touchscreen (800×345), S-Class UI, UMTS/HSDPA, 5MP Schneider-Kreuznach lens, camera flash, Wi-Fi, FM transmitter, 355MB internal memory, microSD card slot and something as position sensor (whatever that means).

Oh, there’s also a picture of BL40 alongside a smaller device, BL42.

More pictures over here.

Just yesterday we were talking about the next LG Black Label phone and today they have semi-confirmed it. LG’s playing coy to share the phone details but has confirmed that it will be known as the new Chocolate, making it the fourth phone from the Black Label Series. The claim that “the new Chocolate will be a disruptive force in conventional mobile screens in an effort to maximize usability,” hints at a possible 21:9 screen.

LG will reveal additional details, pictures when they announce this device in August. For now, hit the gallery to enjoy the teasing pictures.

What the ….???! NPD Group released a report of the five top selling phones in US which to everyone’s surprise is Moto RAZR V3, heading the mobile phone charts. Motorola may have hit the right note to appeal the US citizens but still have a lot of work to do to please the world. No need to say their current financial status must have made them realize that US Market does not equal the World Market.

Anyways, if you’re waiting for the remaining four phones which ruled the US market, then they are as follows:

2) Apple iPhone
3) Blackberry Curve
4) LG Chocolate
5) Blackberry Pearl
