Americans will soon get another 8 megapixel phone to choose from. Destined to reach via T-Mobile, the Sony Ericsson CS8 or C905 (as we know it) has got an approval from the FCC, which means T-Mobile will go ahead and pit it against its own Memoir in the coming months. We already know about the phone but if you want to dig some of an American variant, here’s an user manual and bunch of photos to keep you busy.

The much awaited 17th has arrived. And as expected, Sony Ericsson officially announced a handful of phones. out of which some of them we already know. So without further ado I’ll skim through the details. The only high end phone to be launched today was the 8.1 megapixel camera phone, C905 aka Shiho from the Cyber Shot series. Most of the things we knew but the inclusion of WiFi is an added bonus.

Are the SE phone leaks a marketing ploy? We can’t comment on that but the leaks have spilled the beans on the phones which will be announced tomorrow. We already know about the 8 megapixel bomb but a couple of other phones have also surfaced. First is F305 which is a motion sensing gaming phone. The playstation-esque keys at the top of the screen mimics N81 while the motion sensing is just like the Wii if not better. The phone will be pre loaded with 3 games – bowling, fishing and jockey.

All you people bored of phones with 5 megapixel camera can heave a sigh of relief as Sony Ericsson is preparing a massive 8 megapixel shooter phone. Dubbed as Shiho (C905) it will have all the Cyber Shot goodness and the presence of Xenon and LED flash will make it ideal for amateur photographers. Other things expected in this phone are TV out support, GPS, uploading to various media websites and HSDPA. Wait till 17th of this month to hear the official announcement.
