Sony India has expanded its Bravia lineup with a 65-incher – HX925 LED TV. It is the biggest LED TV by Sony in its Bravia lineup that promises to give the best picture quality thanks to the X-Reality PRO Engine, Intelligent Peak LED and Motionflow technology. X-Reality PRO analyses each scene pixel-by-pixel and optimizes the picture quality whereas LED backlight technology results in improved contrast and less power consumption. Motionflow boosts the frame rate by up to 4 times so a user enjoys smoother and clearer images.

Boasting full HD video playback and 3D support, the TV supports internet connectivity and online services like YouTube, Sony, Star TV, BIGFlix etc.

The HX925 comes in the same attractive monolithic design.

Sony is currently selling the TV for Rs. 3,59,900 and bundles a Skype camera and two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses along with it.

There is really no reason for you to crash a PS3 into an LCD unless you have a point to prove. In this case, the point for Sony Australia was to promote their latest Christmas campaign wherein a Bravia LCD buyer would get a PS3 thrown in for free, which they did it literally. Three Bravia KDL46X 3100 Full HD LCD TV were shot with PS3 Slim at a speed of 50mph (80kmh) and the end result as you would imagine is not good for the TVs but the video with all the slow-motion cameras make the crash worthwhile to watch.

Sony today proudly announced world’s lightest and thinnest LCD TV. The KDL-40ZX1 from the Bravia ZX1 series weighs 12.2kg and measures just 9.9mm thick. The TV’s anorexia figure is possible with the help of wireless media base. The transmission of the data between the base and the LCD is done on a frequency band of 5GHz. 40ZX1 is full HD ready but due to the wireless transmission, only 1080i can be viewed and 1080p quality videos need a wired HDMI input.

The media base can communicate easily within a distance of 20 metres and has 3 HDMI, USB, 2 Composite, 1 S-Video, Ethernet and VGA ports. The TV will be selling from November end for 490,000 Yen ($4500).
